OMG, the game was AMAZING.

Oh wait, let me re-phrase that, the Red Sox played very crappy (last Thursday) but my EXPERIENCE was amazing! I loved every second of it! I was really afraid that I'd be bored (I'm not much into sports) but it was exciting! I kept finding myself sitting on the edge of my seat, elbows on knees, staring. I asked Daryl a bazillion questions which he patiently answered. I need to learn damnit! LOL

We had awesome seats! We were approximately eleven rows up from the field, between third base and home but WAY closer to home. I could see the faces of players as they went up to bat. It was cool! And I had my Fenway Frank, as well. LOL

I think I'm going to be spoiled now becuz of how good these seats were!! We are going again in July: Me and D, Michele and Daniel, and Sarah and Brian, and the seats are bleachers. Daryl pointed out how far away we'd be. BUT I'm sure we'll still have a blast!! I can't wait to go.

Leaving work in an hour!!! Gotta run home and do a couple things, get some gas in the truck, and then off to Boston we go!!! I'm getting super excited!!!!!!!!!! (can you tell by all the exclamation points!)

OMG, I'm so excited I feel like bursting! I opened up a letter last night (didn't see it till around 9:30pm after I had a horrible night...part of which was due to Daisy biting my finger!) and it immediately put a huge happy smile on my face when I read it.

The Bridal Mall has my dress! It arrived!!! I can't wait to go "visit" it and try it on. The only crappy part of course being that i have to come up with the remainder of the balance within the next thirty days. But you know what? That's one less cost I'll have to deal with closer to the wedding. Cuz I'll still have to pay for alterations and veil (and tiara, if I decide to get one) and shoes and bra, etc, etc, etc, etc!!! YIKES!

This makes it seem SO MUCH MORE real now. It's MY dress. Mine. Not just some sample I tried on. ;-)

Red Sox!

My first game EVER watching professional baseball is this Thursday! I'm getting excited. Daryl and I are working a half day Thursday (getting out around noon) then driving up to Boston. It will be a fun day. :-)

Any advice/suggestions from the avid sports fans out there????

**SOPRANOS SPOILER (if you have not watched last episode yet then do not read this!**

Okay, I admit, I was a bit bummed out by the last Sopranos episode EVER. I felt like it was very anti-climactic...and while I'm SURE that's what they were going for, it still was a bit disappointing. I did NOT expect everything to end and be all tied up nicey-nice, obviously not.

BUT I did expect the show to go out with a BANG (something I've loved about some of the episodes in the past!). One thing I give them credit for, though, was the crazy tension build-up at the end! They did a GREAT job of that between the family members coming in one by one, the strange people coming in the diner, some staring, and Meadow's whole crazy parallel parking for FIVE minutes! But then--HELLO? The screen just blacking out like that with the family sitting in the diner, and leaving it all up to US to come to our own conclusions? I kinda felt like that was a cop-out. Talk about leaving the viewers with a case of blue-balls! LOL If I ever went to see a MOVIE in the theater and sat through an ending like that, I'd feel totally jipped, like I didn't get my money's worth.

I guess I wanted *some* closure with the final episode, other than "Yay, Tony, Carm, AJ and Meadow having dinner together as a family...AGAIN."
