I'm feeling so fucking frustrated (please 'scuse my French) today.

My family is driving me to drink, I especially want to run home to that huge lovely bottle of Riesling that sits unopened and lonely in my fridge. Granted, I can't even allow myself to go there (figuratively and literally) till I hit up the gym for some cardio tonight first. I have repeatedly told myself "you must go to the gym at least 3x a week! you must!". So far I have yet to listen to myself. *sigh*

And now my family...WHY are some people so fucking STUPID? And selfish? And lazy? WHY do they continually make life SO MUCH HARDER for others? WHY, WHY, WHY?

I don't really feel like going into details. I don't have the energy, the time or the stomach to rehash certain family members idiocy. I want skittles or peanut butter cups. I know that won't help. So I will be sure to detour FAR, FAR away from the vending machine all day.

GRRRR!! Do you think it would look funny, or slightly crazy, for me to scream my frustrations and irritation into a pillow here at the office? (yes, we have pillows in the building. Come on, guys, I told you this is a massage school!)

And this is why I love 1200 miles away from mine. I say go ahead & scream.

I think it would be funny (albet, slightly scary for the massage-ee) for you to scream into a pillow, but You would probably feel better. Perhaps you can do the chinese massage where they 'beat' the knots out of you...then you could pound on a willing participant AND get your frustration out. hehe Now wouldn't that be funny?

Sorry it is such a crappy day...just remember, some people are stupid, but you don't have to let it rain on your parade...

Go for it. Scream it out.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Go for the scream...and maybe punch the pillow, too! I'm sure it will help you feel better!

I say scream and get it out - but grab a pillow.

Attorneys in my office scream at their computer because they don't know how to use it. I think it's perfectly acceptable for you to scream at a massage school because your family's f***ing insane.

And I agree with Dawn, and I've said it before - move. far. away. They still annoy you, and you'll still get frustrated, but it happens far less often when you aren't seeing or talking to them every day. I'm just thinking, my dad has two brothers, my mom has two sisters. My uncle's first marriage ended in divorce. My aunt's first marriage ended in divorce. They both lived within an hour of their parents, half hour, really. Everybody else, far away (from parents and aunts/uncles, extended, etc.). My aunt almost got divorced from her second husband, when living downstairs from my grandfather.

Living near parents = divorce. You must move for the sake of your marriage!

Get it out girl. Mr. Cat sometimes holds up a pillow for me to punch and it feels great! Or you could just go to someone at the office and get a freak'n massage!

Family is not easy on a good day, add in issues and it makes one crave skittles. I hope things settle down soon. Go to the gym, it will make you feel better to work out some of that aggression!

The two weeks before my surgery I think I rode about 400 miles on my recumbant bike ;)

Maybe you need a massage?
Sorry, couldn't resist!
Sorry your family is making you crazy, sending you lots of hugs :)

I think the whole "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" quote came from someone who was fed up with his family, ha.

Scream it out girl...I do and it always makes me feel better. Is it wrong that I usually scream while I am drinking! LOL The looks I get. Why do you think I live in TX and my family is in CO. I love them but they are easier to deal with when I only have to see them every so often. That doesn't mean I don't miss them. Family drama is for the birds.

Did you already scream? I am posting a comment pretty late in the day. Hope it all worked out.

It was so fun to see your picture in MY blog comments. I've seen you around and have been meaning to stop by and spend some time here, and now I have a great excuse. Hope you stop by again soon! :)
