Geez Louise my right eye lid (both upper and lower) has been twitching intermittently (sounds like car troubles) since last THURSDAY. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to make it stop??

I am not drinking any more caffeine than usual (I have one coffee a day, once in a blue moon, two coffees a day); I'm not lacking on sleep; I don't feel stressed out; I am drinking water.

What else can be causing this annoying freakin' twitch? I want to scream!!!

wow since thursday? i thought those were stress-related, but I also thought that my allergic reaction to macadamia nuts was measles. Maybe call the doc?

I don't know, the only time I've ever had a twitch was when I was too stressed/too tired. Maybe try a cold washcloth over it for a while?

I wear contacts ALL THE TIME...even sleep in them...so my eyes do it when they need a break or when I stare at the computer screen non-stop for 8+hrs. Getting away from floresent lights and wearing my glasses usually helps me.

Ugh! I hate when my eye twitches. Though I've never had it last that long before...maybe call the eye doctor and see what they suggest?

No joke. Eat banana's. Football coaches tell their men to eat banana's to curb any muscle twitches. I think it's because of the potassium.

Wow, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having a twitch that long.

I have no advice just I hope it quits soon...I can't imagine living with a twitch for that long, especially in my eye!

I would guess the potassium, too, since it's muscle related, but I might also call my dr. I hope it goes away. It's very annoying.

Wow. That is a long time. I agree with Helmey. Try duct tape. ;)

Girl, I wish I knew. That's gotta be driving you crazy. I like the duct tape idea. :)

sounds to me like you need a new eye all together. Do you prefer blue or brown? I am sure I can dig one up for you around here...

I have a twitching nose...never had any problems with the eyes...

Hope it isn't as costly as a car repair!

Oh, I hate when that happens!

Make sure you're doing computer stuff in good light. I get the twitch when I spend too much time in front of screens (tv, computer) in the dark.

I get that every once in a while, but I have no cure for you, it stinks.

I have no ideas but I can just imagibe how you feel. Just 5 minutes of eye twitching is enough to send me around the bend.
