Oh my Lord.

I was just talking on the phone at work to a customer who was a "rambler". (That's what I call the people who ramble on and make absolutely no sense and that I have NO IDEA who to direct their call to even after there entire ramblification. And yes, that's my own made-up word.)

Anyway, I finally said, "Okay so you are inquiring about a check that you mailed to us or that we mailed to you?"

And she replied, "A check that I made out to yous."

No, that was not a typo. She really and truly said "to yous".

And I have to talk to these people?!?!??!

No seriously, that is a local thing here...YOU SHOULD HEAR IT. it goes so far beyond YOUS.

Oh come April you know you love the crazies that call you.

I get crazy folks calling me all day every day. Go figure I do work next to the Center for Psychiatric Medicine. And alot of time that's where I direct their calls. lol

I have to deal with those "idiots" all the time...but most of all I hate the sales people that call..this is a business people!! We want to do the selling, LOL!

My aunt was born and raised in NY and she says "yous" too. My sister and I STILL laugh when she does it.

The fun you have at work! It makes me so jealous. I only work at the local crazy hospital and check girls in the middle of the night to make sure they're not dead. But you get to have all the fun! :)

Did she have an Australian accent? Because that is the only society I know of that uses 'yous'. It's like saying y'all in the south.
