I got a little bit of my baby fix this weekend.

Went to a friend's Surprise 30th Birthday party and met her 2-month old little munchkin, Logan, for the first time.

I got to love him and squeeze him up and rub his back a few hundred times while everyone was cleaning up the hall at the end of the party. I was the lucky one who got to inhale that sweet baby scent, and feel his little warm breath on my neck, while everyone else swept and threw away garbage. Suckers.

The big joke was that they were going to put out an "April Alert" as everyone insinuated I would grab Logan and run. Ha.

I think my womb is constricting a little bit. It desperately needs to be filled.

Aww... babies do smell so sweet. And I'll admit that even my hard-ass womb aches when I hold a newborn.

hee hee. April Alert. I love it! :)

(as a side note- could it be possible that Big D's diabetes could be affecting the baby-process? Feel free to ignore that question if it's too personal!!)

babies have such a great smell. (well..usually). Such a cute picture! as my sisters pregnancy progresses I find myself wanting a baby more and more. Waiting is hard!!

I had the same thought as jen about the diabetes?

That question is not too personal...don't worry. I've wondered it myself, believe me. And cried worrying that his diabetes or even the meds will affect us getting preggo. :-P But I'm just going to keep staying positive cuz who knows what will happen, right?

Awe, you definitely look 'at home' with logan in your arms - funny thing is while you were thinking 'suckers' the mom was probably thinking...finally a break! haha

I love, love, love holding newborns. Then giving them back. But I've had my turn. I hope your turn is very, very soon.

Aww - I hope your womb is filled very soon!

Pretty much everyone I know is pregnant and even after they've had their baby they get pregnant again. I have 0 babies and am starting to get really, really sad about it.

Its so hard, as part of me wants to hold babies, and smooth their hair, and breath them in....but then there is the part of me that is hurting, that knows I am either going to cry, or grab said baby and run like a mad woman. Its a toss up really.

Very pretty picture by the way

What a cutie! And, they do smell pretty good...most of the time!

Staying positive is a good idea, and if you are worried about the diabetes, maybe you could talk with your OB/GYN?
