Hellooooooooo, out there!

What a terribly depressed, sad and neglected little blog this is! What's it been...six or seven months since I last posted? (honestly I thought it was even longer!)
No idea if anyone even reads it anymore, but just in case, here goes!
Life is BUSY. Often hard, but I love my family to pieces and that hasn't changed one little bit. :-)
The kiddos?? They are SO big, sometimes (oh, ok, OFTEN) trying to my patience, but almost always HILARIOUS! I laugh every day at something they've done...if I'm not crying. Heh heh.
Hunter turned FOUR YEARS OLD this past August.
I still can't believe it. He is still my sweet boy but he's definitely become a bit feistier, learning more every day about WHO he is and WHERE he fits in this world. Needless to say, he doesn't always agree with his Mama, but he is still ready to give me a big HUG and a KISS after a disagreement.
He started preschool this year and is absolutely FLOURISHING.
I couldn't be happier. My boy has learned SO much. There is still a few things to work on before he would be ready for kindergarten (EMOTIONAL, like his Mama!) but academically he is doing AWESOME.
Little Miss Avery is 2...well technically 2 3/4! Her 3rd birthday is coming up in March and I'm planning her a super fun "Sweet Shoppe" themed birthday party. Becuz, the girl most certainly is SWEET!
Avery is extremely independent, super stubborn (like her Dad!) but also GIRLY to the extreme.
She loves tutus, princesses, wearing pretty bows in her hair that Mama makes. She LOVES her doggy, Tucker, with a passion and shows him every day. She is STILL quite the lover and cuddler, which I'm so thankful for. I enjoy my squeezes when I get them. :-)
And Big D and I????? Yes, we're still dorks.
Some things never change, do they??? ;-)
P.S. Just in case I don't get back on here before Christmas (which is a possibility!)....then Merry Christmas!!!

I'm alive and it's just about SUMMER!

I'm alive!!!

Hello, everyone. Hope life has been treating you good. I SERIOUSLY want to catch up on everyone's blogs but I just HAVE. NO. TIME.  Work, home, my bow-business, summer (camping!)...we've been so busy.

And my kids are getting huge.

Hunter will be four on August 4th but he looks more like he's turning FIVE. No lie!

And little Miss Avery turned two years old on March 15th. She is almost as tall as her big brother, and definitely waaaaaaaaaaaay fresher than he was at this age! Girls! ;-)

I'm doing ok. We've already been camping like four (five?) times this year and I'm loving it! Our camper is teeny-tiny but it definitely make camping SO much easier. Especially in the rain. Like Memorial Day weekend where it rained 3/4 of the darn weekend. But we still managed to have a

super fun time, in New Hampshire! Took the kids to an awesome farm where we got to touch and feed all kinds of animals, cooked out, played games in the camper when it was especially rainy and/or cold, took walks and talked about the "fairies" living in the was a great long weekend!

And July 4th weekend we're going camping in Maine.  This time we'll be going with about three other families. It will be a blast! Just hope the weather cooperates this time. ;-)

Making lots of memories with the kids!  That's what is most important to me and Big D!

I'll be by to catch up with all of you soon, but until then, enjoy the start of your summer!!

Come inside, it's fun inside! Avery's 2nd Minnie (and Mickey) Birthday Party!

My baby girl turned two  years old on Friday!
SUPER excited about her new purse and shoes. She's SUCH a girl!

*sniff sniff* Time flies, doesn't it?

We celebrated with a Minnie (and Mickey) Mouse Birthday Party on Saturday with family and friends! Lots of pics, so buckle your seat belts...

We hear this phrase on a daily basis in my house! My kids are HUGE Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fans.

I made all the decorations myself: cupcake toppers, mickey head confetti, birthday banner, mickey silhouette and also circle garland, table centerpiece, "2" yellow pots on the mantle, Mickey and Minnie ears for my kids, kids goody bags, the Mickey ears on party hats that I purchased, Avery's bow and beaded necklace...I was super busy leading up to this party! :-)

Big D made the cake himself. I seriously love that man!
Mickey and Minnie enjoying a snack before the party begins!

Good God, these two are so cute...I could just EAT them!

And Mommy made the cupcakes! Yum, yum.
Are you tired of pics yet?? No?? Ok, more!

Before I took this picture, I asked Avery: "Who is this birthday party for today?" To which I got an enthusiastic, "ME!"

She loved EVERY single gift. Even the clothes!

Scrambling for the pinata!

My handsome little devil, Hunter, ready to dive into his sweets from the pinata.

Such a fabulous day for my sweet, beautiful girl.  We're so lucky that she completed our family!
